Below is a list of characters from the children's television series, Miss Spider's Sunny Patch Friends created by David Kirk. ==Main Characters== * Miss Spider — voiced by Kristin Davis. Like three of her children, Miss Spider is an adoptee, adopted by Betty Beetle when she could not find her spider mom. Miss Spider tries to be a kind and caring mom and give equal time to all of her many children. She strongly believes that "We have to be good to bugs, all bugs." * Squirt — A curious and adventure-loving green spider voiced by Scott Beaudin. Squirt is considered to be the lead character of the children and because of that, more stories center around his character than any of the other children. He enjoys "web-surfing" and dreams of flying like Shimmer or Dragon, and is often ready to take the lead in an adventure. Because of his impulsive and curious personality, he often needs the advice of his parents to help him with situations; as seen in the episode ''Cry Buggie'' where Squirt was unsure if it was okay for "big bugs" to cry; as well in the episode, ''A Star Fell on Sunny Patch'' where Squirt has to return a "fallen star" back into the sky. * Shimmer — A pink jewel beetle with an interest in sports and games, Shimmer is different from the rest of the family as she has abilities the others do not (such as heat sensors). She is one of Miss Spider and Holley's adoptive children. Voiced by Rebecca Brenner. * Dragon — A purple dragonfly voiced by Mitchell Eisner. One of Miss Spider and Holley's adoptive children. Dragon was flying with his birth family and fell into the river. A waterbug rescued Dragon and introduced him to Holley and Miss Spider. From that day, Dragon becomes a part of Squirt's family. In the movie, he had black eyes, green lids, and blue bulges. In the TV series, he now had green eyes, blue lids, and black bulges. Also in the second season, his voice became a lot deeper. Originally voice cast by Barbara Weber Scaff. * Bounce — A blue bedbug voiced by Julie Lemieux. Is one of Miss Spider and Holley's adoptive children. He is a two-legged, high energy bug. Bounce lost his way when he wandered from home. He is the only bug character in the series to have teeth.
